When I'm not working in the lab, you'll find me outside and, depending on the season, I'll either be running or skiing (uphill). I love to challenge myself in races, over FKTs and (I'll be perfectly honest) on some local strava segments, which isn't the easiest task in Boulder. I'm most at home in the high alpine, dancing on ridgelines and ripping technical descents. Through all of this I embrace a run to ski to run mindset as a year-round athlete.

While I have my own athletic goals, I’m passionate about getting more women into light weight backcountry skiing and skimo racing. Boulder’s local skimo races have just 15% of participants who identify as women - a number I actively want to increase in the coming years from both competitive and recreational sides. I coach women’s clinics through the winter alongside Boulder Skimo Club to help more women gain confidence and skills to move more efficiently in the mountains.

​As a professional materials engineer and competitive athlete, I'm a self-confessed gear nerd, so am always looking for brands whose products that bring the next technology, discovery and innovation. I'm currently looking to partner and collaborate with brands who share these goals to fine tune products through their athletes input.
